Gown delivery & Steaming service to the yurt @granbyranchweddings Sometimes the best option for my brides is for us to deliver it ourselves so she doesn't have to move it multiple times before the wedding day. Her gown alterations were 👌 and so was the bride Toria! I really 🥹 adore my brides.

That time I designed a runway dress for my #neworleansfashionweek collection and a local lady came in needing a wedding gown, pronto. With a few revamps to this piece we were able to send her off feeling beautiful & comfortable. 100% upcycled and very much Amber. Fast forward to now Amber and I are good friends and work together in my retreats @lavenderelephantretreats and when we can in the wedding industry @blissful_productions. She’s an amazing chef and spirit to be around. So happy she walked into my studio ✨💫

Another beautiful bride in her gown altered to perfection and a few design elements to make it her own.

It’s been a radical wedding season and I’m seriously still in awe of how many insanely stunning brides I had the privilege to work with.

Each client was not only a pleasure to work for but my process and attention to detail has elevated to new heights. As an expert dressmaker I’ve honed in my skills working with lace, fit, and creating comfort. My brides leave feeling more confident and beautiful and the reward is simply seeing their gorgeous photos not only capturing their day but seeing their inner/outer beauty radiate.

Through this season I’ve started to feel a bit of the fire ignite within me again. It’s been cold lately, for several seasons. And although I’m highly aware there are chapters for us all. I know it’s mostly from the heartache of what occurred at my old location fighting for my worth (IYKUK). Another piece just regular post partum stuff. I’ve kept my thoughts to myself much, so I could focus on building it all back up naturally through silence. Through the art of practicing, all the things, I’ve landed in a peaceful tranquil place. A place where my talents can thrive. I’m an expert with lacework and an expert with fit, construction & design. AND I ABSOLUTELY love what I do.

Grateful for where I’ve landed.
Grateful for the lessons in resiliency.
And super grateful for things to be a lot simpler these days.

When Holly came in for her initial bridal fitting consultation we were focused on making sure her neckline didn’t gap with movement plus the basic hem & bustle stuff.

I LOVE making my clients feel like queens. Dealing with boobs, butts & backs… I’m an expert, it’s my specialty and always has been since starting to design gowns. Andddd that’s not me just saying this, my clients are always really happy!

During Hollys fitting process I noticed the dress proportions were off at her waist. An alteration that couldn’t be altered by simply lifting the shoulder seam. So, although she was arriving to see me with a few 3 weeks before the wedding….we were able to bring the entire skirt up, shortening the cummerbund a great 4+ inches and creating a new waistline that flattered her. To achieve this, I had to remove the zipper & reinstall it. 😅

Then we were able to taper the shoulders to help the neckline lay securely against the bust…then final touches included hemming & bustle.
Not only did we elevate the dress to it’s ultimate potential, Holly felt comfortable & beautiful.

On another note, in the process of working with us…she hired our sister company @blissfulproductionsco to coordinate her wedding day!

Holly was so much fun to work with. Seriously love my clients.

I love when brides show up with a wedding wardrobe that I get to play with and make fit perfect. Seriously. The more the merrier. Because then we get to be good friends in the process AND I know your wardrobe is taken care of!

Kenzie’s gown by @alexandragreco was a classic non stretch elegant crepe simple fit gown to die for. It needed to be shaped to perfection, not too tight not too loose. 👌

Don’t let the word simple fool you either, the less lace and bells and whistles can make it all more difficult.

I achieved this and she just looks insane plus comfortable. Seriously just love my clients.

Over a decade of altering gowns, designing custom gowns, and upcycling/restoring heirloom gowns- I’m FINALLY ready to embark on my own collection. A blend of made to order gowns and accessories for brides, mommas to be…accessories and everything pretty.

As I rebrand/restructure our branding I’m excited nervous and scared. After several consults from mentors and words of wisdom from friends. The dream never left- it just got challenged.

Someone described the environment of an olive tree…the harsh winds balanced with the warm climate yields a strong tasteful fruit. Cheers to yielding tasty fruit bits. 🤣🤔

Our design house getting shut down for many months unexpectedly due to the building we’re in switching ownership- terribly disrupted our bridal season.

Grateful for the challenge and rooting into what I want with more truth- and determination than ever. Celebrating our wins hard right now- all our successes and a strong future of more happy clients.
